- Take off your bandage after 1 hour. Do not apply again.
- Wash gently with your fingertips using a mild soap and warm water.
- Apply Bepanthen/Paw-Paw Ointment LIGHTLY twice daily for two weeks. Larger pieces (such as tribal) may require three times daily.

It is always important to keep any fresh wound clean. Long showers, baths, swimming pools, etc should be avoided for 2 weeks.
It is normal for your tattoo to scab and shed coloured flakes, picking at the scab will cause your tattoo to loose colour.
Sunburn during healing can cause it to form a larger scab and fade the colours. Wait until it is FULLY healed before you go back in the sun or a tanning bed. Once healed, make sure your tattoo is always protected by a high quality sunblock to keep it looking it's best.
